There are still four weeks left, but it looks like this football season
will be the worst in history for the sportsbooks. The public is
absolutely killing them and many of the poorly funded offshore books
will shut down without being able to pay off customers. Here's a good
example from a watchdog site I frequent:
BigDaveSports(SBR rating D+) Closes. BigDave’s hosting
company, SportsCallCenter F.A. tells SBR that Dave, the owner of the
book, picked up his computer and left yesterday after saying "I can’t
take this anymore". SBR is attempting to contact Dave to discuss player
balances.
Funny stuff.
Maybe I'm too cynical, but I think if you deposit money with a sportsbook named "
BigDaveSports" you may deserve what you get.
